Ron Abney started the company in 1980 selling windows and doors and providing installation and service. The company grew over the years to include small home remodels and other exterior work.

I went to church with Ron Abney for years. I own a construction company J. Edgar, Inc and had always purchased my windows and doors from him. After church one day he approach me about purchasing his company. I am an entrepreneur at heart and I love the construction industry and so I gave it some serious thought. After a month of much thought and prayer we decided to purchase the company July 15th 2019 

Ron asked if he could still run sales calls and do some ordering, I was happy to keep him apart of it. He worked with Abney Home Improvements until he passed July, 25th 2021.

He was a mentor to me in business and a friend. He is well missed.

We have decided this year 2023 to change the business name to Abney Windows & Doors to better reflect the work that we do and service we provide.

We plan to continue with the legacy that Ron Abney built with the same values, service, and quality products that many of you have already experienced.
